"I'll finally do more things than just riding a bike," Bryant told the LA Times. "That's killing me. Absolutely killing me."

Kobe played only six games after returning from an April Achilles injury that forced him to miss the playoffs. He averaged 13.8 points and 6.3 assists before suffering a fractured knee in a Dec. 17 game against the Memphis Grizzlies.

Bryant needs medical clearance before he can ramp up his rehab regiment. That process begins when he gets back to Los Angeles.

"I'll throw on some shorts, I'll throw on a T-shirt and I'll walk outside, for one," Bryant said. "Then I'll go to the doctor and get my check-up and go from there."
