The second largest reservoir in the U.S. by total capacity after Lake Mead, Lake Powell spans the Utah/Arizona border, and is an artificial lake created from damming the Colorado River. The water levels in Lake Powell are dramatically lower than they were in 2021, which in turn were lower than they were in 2020. As of August 10, water levels were measured to be 3,534.51 feet above sea level. At full pool, Powell’s water line lies 3,700 feet above sea level, and at 3,370 feet, it will reach deadpool levels....

Saturday saw all three teams in action following the resumption of top-flight action in Spain, with leaders Barcelona conceding late to lowly Espanyol as they were held to a 2-2 draw in an entertaining derby. While Barca remain on top, Real Madrid are now level on points with their rivals after a 3-0 triumph away at Getafe. As for Atletico Madrid, they overcame Levante 2-1 at home to make it four wins on the spin in all competitions, keeping them in touch with the top two ahead of what could be an intriguing battle (after all, Sevilla are level on points with Atleti, too)....

One person who apparently is not excited about the 2016 Heisman Trophy winner coming aboard is incumbent starter Joe Flacco. And understandably so. Chelsea are understood to have gained £8million in return but have been left with only a single centre-back aged over 24. Highly rated United States international Pulisic joined Chelsea from Borussia Dortmund in a reported £57.6million deal in January, but only linked up with his new team-mates in pre-season. The 21-year-old was seen by some as a replacement for departing star Eden Hazard, though he is yet to score his first Chelsea goal.
